Co-Owners of MD Sports Hall, Tay Fisher and Julie McBride, are both locally grown athletes that had successful basketball careers at the College and Pro Levels. They look to bring a quality facility at a reasonable rate to all organizations in the Capital Region!
JULIE MCBRIDE
A Mechanicville native, Julie McBride is best known for her success on the basketball court as An All-Area player at Catholic High in Troy, an All-Big East performer at Syracuse university, and a 14 Year European Pro! Julie is tough, intense, and has a big heart for developing Youth Sports in the Capital Region!
TAY FISHER
A Kingston Native, Tay Fisher was an All Star Basketball Player at Kingston High School with the most points in school history (2,119). He led Siena College to the 2008 MACC championship and a win over Vanderbilt in the first round. He played 10 years with the World Famous Harlem Globetrotter visiting 50 states and 75 countries. Tay has run basketball programs for over 20 years in hopes to find ways to enhance Youth Sports in the Capital District!
PRESERVING TRADITION
The former St. Augustine's Gymnasium has been a staple in the community for over 70 years. We look to continue the great tradition of the building!
